POSITION TITLE: Faith Based and Preschool Support Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director of CCRR Programs
SUPERVISES: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE: To conduct research of license exempt child care programs and assist in increasing quality through assessments, on site visits, trainings, resources and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Research regulation and exemption standards to gain a working knowledge of license exempt child care throughout the country, with special regard to Indiana
 Work closely with Early Childhood Mentors to learn barriers for license exempt child care programs
 Conduct throughout research to assist in the formulation of strategy for accessing and increasing the quality of care in license exempt programs, with an end goal of licensure and/or regulation
 Support program administrators in plans for improvements with research, technical assistance and training
 Maintain comprehensive tracking system on each program, including assessments, Paths to QUALITY action plans, level advancement plans, order forms, summary of visits and trainings offered
 Offer resources and training and use evaluations to determine effectiveness
 Maintain thorough and up to date knowledge of child development, developmental milestones, and developmentally appropriate practice
 Provide legally-license exempt provider and family education through regular personal visits and play groups
 Assess needs and provide developmentally appropriate information, guidance, and support to legally-license exempt providers

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
 Maintain confidentiality regarding 4C programs, procedures, policy, staff, and clients
 Return emails and messages within one business day
 Be cognizant of the impact the position has on the overall mission of the agency

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social work, consumer and family sciences, business management or related field

POSITION TITLE: Pre-K Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of CCRR Programs
SUPERVISES: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE: Coordinate and provide support to the local On My Way Pre-K leadership teams to ensure successful implementation of On My Way Pre-K.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Coordinate local community engagement for On My Way Pre-K including family recruitment and enrollment
 Coordinate local provider engagement and enrollment in On My Way Pre-K
 Act as liaison between local pre-K leadership and the State
 Attend local pre-K stakeholder meetings and provide support to these meetings as needed
 Attend state level meetings and trainings as required
 Oversee and coordinate family recruitment activities including the following tasks: work within the local communities including faith-based, schools, community serving organizations to identify and reach families from target populations. Includes the planning and staffing of community outreach events, working with the State and community partners on the development and distribution of outreach materials. Goal is to ensure that families are aware of the opportunity and successfully complete a pre-K application by the deadline.
 Oversee and coordinate family enrollment activities including the following tasks: work within the local community, including with the local Intake Agents, to facilitate the completion of child enrollment. Includes the organization and staffing of outreach events to link eligible providers with grantees to facilitate the completion of child enrollment by August pre-K start dates.
 Oversee and coordinate provider engagement activities including the following tasks: work with local early education programs within each county including public and non-public schools and community based programs, to ensure that providers are aware of On My Way Pre-K, understand the eligibility and application process and are enrolling to become an approved On My Way Pre-K provider. Goal is to ensure a full range of choices for families and sufficient pre-K provider enrollment with sufficient capacity to serve the target number of grantees.
 Oversee and coordinate provider capacity building activities including the following tasks: work within local communities to assist providers in reaching provider eligibility standards and/or build their capacity to serve families. This will include identifying provider needs and linking providers with available resources to meet these needs in order to become an On My Way Pre-K approved provider.
 Participate in family engagement activities through partnership with local community agencies with expertise in parent and family engagement to support and enrich family engagement activities within On My Way Pre-K programs. Assist in making family engagement resources available to participating families and programs.
 Engage in stakeholder meetings with community partners, participating providers and families to identify areas for continuous program improvement. Share feedback with the State and leadership teams. Include continuous program improvement activities in the local pre-k strategic planning.
 Participate in improving child outcomes activities including the following tasks: work within local communities to identify needs and available resources that will improve the potential of child outcomes including training and other resources for providers including but not limited to family engagement activities, child assessments, curricula supports, child health and wellness supports and nutrition supports. Additional duties include identifying needs and making available information to grantees regarding available resources within local communities designed to promote family and child well-being.
